Perfect sea kayaking trip - brilliant weather, brilliant scenery and how much did you have to pay the seals to follow us for 20 minutes? Thanks again.

Mike, this is just to say a warm thank you for a smashing weekend in Snowdonia. In relation to the planning for our trip to Kilimanjaro, we achieved all our objectives: some reasonably strenuous walking, excellent advice about kit and some experience of trekking at night time. So all boxes ticked there! But, more than that, thank you for being a patient guide and a good companion. Very professional, caring and competent. We would most certainly recommend you to anyone who asked. Good luck with all your activities!

I had a brilliant time. I didn't really know what to expect when we were told we were going on an adventure holiday but you made it really worthwhile!
My favourite sport has to be kayaking and thank you for coaching me on my two star. I have been inspired to carry on kayaking and hope to do a lot more in the near the future.
Thank you.

Thank you very much for the fantastic 5 days! I have never done anything that i did in those 5 days before and i enjoyed all of them especially the rock climbing which i am considering taking up down here!
The beach camping was amazing and watching the moon come up was even better! Oh, and thank you for the tows when we were kayaking!
Coasteering was interesting and I’m glad I have slightly conquered my 'fear' of seaweed!
I would recommend you to anyone who wanted to try something new. Thanks again!

We booked Mike as our guide from the internet, and were a little apprehensive as we had no idea what to expect at all. We are a family with a sense of adventure (children aged 15, 13 and 12) but complete novices at sea kayaking and rock climbing (with the exception of 2 of our children who had just completed a one star course in anticipation of this holiday).
Well, we have just had one of our best holidays ever and Mike was the perfect guide; experienced, professional and fun and so obviously great with teenagers. We all feel very proud of what we have achieved, and it will be a family holiday we will never forgot. Go on................do something different!

Thank you for an excellent weekends sea kayaking and for taking us for our BCU4* sea kayaking qualification. Gary and I learnt heaps in the time we spent with you and left enthused to do much more. Your style of teaching suited us down to the ground and you quickly realised that we were happy to have ago at anything you threw at us. Surfing a 17 foot sea kayak off the beach at Bantham and exploring the caves (and seals) of Dartmouth have to be highlights.
Both Gary and I are now back from having competed in the Hebridean Challenge, a multi discipline adventure race covering 700km of Scotland's toughest terrain. A big thank you to you for unknowingly giving us the ticket we needed to go.
To anyone thinking of booking a course with Mike I would very highly recommend it.

What a fantastic trip! We cannot recommend Mike highly enough for anyone interested in kayaking - and if this was anything to go by then any of his courses in other disciplines as well.
Email communication was 1st class and we never felt that we were getting anything other than a personal service. He is clearly extremely highly qualified and a great instructor. Despite having obviously participated / instructed for many years he seems to have such an enthusiasm for kayaking and this certainly rubbed off on our trip which was nice.
Equipment - excellent, - safety, preparation and planning - all there in abundance but the trip was about fun and getting out there to do whatever you wanted to do in a relaxed environment. If you want to learn loads / have a trip or both whilst having a great time in beautiful surroundings Mike is the man. We will be back as soon as we can - Thanks Mike.

Mike, thank you so much for taking nine of my Year 10 Uffculme School tutees and me to Swildens caves in the Mendips. We all found the trip very exciting and can't wait to go again.
As always, you encouraged and inspired us as individuals and as a team, enabling us to have a thrilling time whilst filling us with confidence through your professionalism and leadership skills.
Keep up the good work - you are an invaluable asset!
